Alec is a product-focused UX/UI designer with 16+ years of experience. His career began in graphic design and visual arts before evolving into product design, and that creative foundation still shapes everything he builds. He’s consulted for Google, worked at top agencies like Fresh Tilled Soil, and led design for startups and high-growth teams including Linus Health, O2X, Shadow Lion, and DCU. His focus has always been on clean, user-centered interfaces that drive measurable results, and his superpower is connecting design decisions directly to business goals. Since 2022, Alec has been at the forefront of integrating AI into design workflows, from rapid prototyping with no-code tools like Lovable.dev to teaching designers how to build their own Figma plugins, use AI for imagery and video, and adopt AI-assisted storytelling into their process. Outside of work, Alec is a dad of three, skier, and piano player.
